Storm Water Workshop #2: Regulatory Hurdles and Conflicts
The public is invited to attend the second in a series of three free workshops on storm water capture and reuse on Monday, May 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the San Diego Foundation.
The workshop is a joint effort by the Water Reliability Coalition and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, with support from The San Diego Foundation.
These workshops seek to educate the business community, civic leaders and policy makers on the potential for storm water capture and reuse as a sustainable source of water for our region.
The moderator for Monday’s workshop is Ry Rivard of Voice of San Diego. Panelists include: Jack Monger of IEA, Matt O'Malley of San Diego Coastkeeper and Co-Chair of the Water Reliability Coalition, Halla Razak of the City of San Diego Public Utilities Department and Chris Beegan of the California State Water Resources Control Board.
The workshop will be held at the San Diego Foundation, 2508 Historic Decatur Rd., #200,San Diego, CA 92106. Lunch will be provided.
