Two Area Water Projects Win Federal Grants
Two San Diego-area water reclamation projects have received federal grants for planning, design and construction.
The City of San Diego received $4.2 million, and Padre Dam Municipal Water District received $3.9 million.
The two grants were issued by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation through the Title XVI Water Reclamation and Reuse program.
All in all, $23.6 million in grants were awarded to communities in seven states.
