Pure Water Day to Offer Tours, Tastings & More

The public is invited to the Pure Water Day Open House at the North City Water Reclamation Plant on Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will feature tours of the facility, where you can learn how the City’s Pure Water Program will produce one-third of San Diego's water supply locally using proven technology to clean recycled water.  You can also try the water for yourself!

Youth can check out the Kid Zone, which will include a scavenger hunt and educational and creative activities. Refreshments, including free snow cones and popcorn, will also be available.
